The Mandalorian and Grogu
Movie title: The Mandalorian and Grogu
Movie description: About 5 years after the destruction of the Second Death Star, ex-Imperial warlords lurk in the corners of the galaxy, plotting their move to return and overthrow the fledgling New Republic before it can reunite the galaxy. In the New Republic's efforts, the Mandalorian known as Din Djarin, and his strange little friend, Grogu, work with the New Republic to hunt down and neutralize these Imperial threats before they grow too powerful to stop. But even a Mandalorian must be cautious. When deals are made on Nal Hutta with the deceitful and powerful Hutt Twins to find a key Imperial warlord known as 'Lord Coin', Din Djarin must walk a dangerous line between loyalty to his agreement with the Hutts and justice to the galaxy.

I liked the main protagonists (such as: Din Djarin, Grogu, Rotta the Hutt, and Zeb Orrelios).
The main antagonists provided meaningful opposition in the story (such as: The Hutt Twins, Janu Coin, and Embo.
Unfortunately though, the plot as a whole was not particularly compelling for a film. The overall writing could have been a more compelling story with larger implications to the galaxy as opposed to what felt more like a side story about Din Djarin and Grogu rather than a story that more directly addresses the larger events going on in the galaxy, like Thrawn's return and what Luke is doing with the Jedi Order. The film also had pacing issues with near non-stop action for more than two thirds of the movie before switching to a long, drawn-out recovery by Din Djarin that seemed to slow everything down - just when a climactic crescendo should have been taking place.
The film as a whole was fun and connects well to Star Wars, but the story wasn't a particularly interesting one to watch on the big screen.

Not a bad film, but not amazing either. The story wasn’t really all that strong of a contribution to progressing the greater issues in the Star Wars galaxy of the time- felt like more of a side story that would have been a good show, rather than a major film.
