    • Are droids in Star wars sentient? This is a big question. But there are also big amounts of evidence supporting both sides of the argument. Droids, as we know, were programmed by living beings to resemble the organism's traits so that it could communicate and work for the organism. Over time, I believe, the droids have learned more. This is probably both by them learning (or adding to their databanks) new things or them being programmed into them. And we can see that the longer a droid is kept with the same memory, the more personality it develops. As seen in the Star wars continuity, first order and empire droids have less personality. Strange, right? Well this isn't exactly programming. What these organizations are doing is wiping the droids' memories periodically so that they do not develop personality. Back to basic human feelings. Droids have been known to care for others. Like R2-D2 will save someone they know to be in danger even if it is not requested of them. Playing devils advocate, however, is that droids will sometimes have a superseding order that makes them do something first or in place of before another personal task. Mostly, droids don't really get bored. We don't know for sure, but my guess is that droids get bored only because they want to be more like humans. Another thing. Droids feeling pain? This can't be true. But somehow it is. In an episode of the Clone Wars, C-3PO and R2-D2 are on a mission for getting supplies when C-3PO gets captured and interrogated. C-3PO actually winces when he gets shocked. He also fears the pain, and anticipates a pain reaction from it. Droids can also 'hear,' but just a different way. Also, Droids can smell? In the new show, Maul: Shadow Lord, Two boots comments on the smell of an area. That's new information. Droids are also super protective of the idea that they are sentients. Droids like L3-37 have even rebels for this vision. I am curious to hear people's thoughts on this, because it is a puzzling subject.

    • Palpatine draining Padme’s life force This is a theory I have seen a few times. Anakin did not kill Padme but Palpatine drained her life force. No one looses the will to live for no reason. I mean Palpatine I don’t think was lying about having the ability to save her but of course Sith are evil so he did the opposite and killed her. Killing her would make Vader angry and make him more committed to the Dark Side. I just want to hear what you think about the topic

    • Was Ahsoka referenced in Tales of the Empire? In the final episode of Tales of the Empire, when Lyn Rakish (Fourth Sister) is spotted in the distance from Barriss’ hut, she tells her aides to take the family off-world. When asked where they should take them, Barriss simply says “To see an old friend, she’ll know what to do”. To me, this immediately made me think of Ahsoka, because as we know from The Clone Wars show that they were good friends, and it can be presumed that at this time Ahsoka is already working alongside Bail Organa in the early rebellion. However, the only problem is that Barriss framed Ahsoka for the Jedi Temple bombing and therefore their relationship is likely shattered beyond repair, meaning that Ahsoka most likely wouldn’t be in contact with Barriss. Despite this, I could see Ahsoka forgiving Barriss and helping her out. Another person who the “old friend” could be, is Ventress as we know from The Bad Batch season three that she is still around and willing to help potentially force sensitives. I don’t much evidence of this though. What do you think?

    • Does anyone else think that there could be other Mando/Jedi (besides Sabine)? I know it’s not likely because the Mandalorians hate the Jedi, but it says in Tarre Vizla’s Wookiepedia page “Tarre Vizsla was a Force-sensitive human male who, was inducted into the Jedi Order around 1050 BBY, becoming the first Mandalorian to do so.” ‘First Mandalorian’ it basically implies that other mandos became Jedi! I don’t know much about the EU/legends besides Karen Traviss’s Republic Commando novels so I don’t know if there already are/were; I know that technically now Sabine is in the Ahsoka show. But I want to know if there are others. It would be great for one to show up in coming shows and movies even in the background.

    • Does anyone else think that Omega is Force-sensitive? I know it’s probably crazy but I think Omega might be at least slightly Force-sensitive. I’ve thought this sense the beginning, the way that she seems to notice things at the same time if not before Hunter does(who has enhanced senses), like in the first episode when they are wondering where Crosshair is and she just looks at the door and is like ‘I don’t that we’ll have look far’ or something like that. AND THEN the door beeps and opens and Crosshair is RIGHT THERE. That’s just one example. Not to even mention Hemlok and ‘M-count’ in season 3 Feel free to add your own ideas or to list contradictory information.

    • Can anyone become a Jedi if they strengthen their connection to the Force enough? I really liked Ahsoka, but I'm really not sure how I feel about how Sabine supposedly can strengthen her connection to the Force enough to become a Jedi when she clearly doesn't have much of a connection to the Force. If Disney opens up the Force like this, then what's to stop potentially anyone and everyone in the galaxy from becoming as powerful as a Jedi, a Sith or something worse? I guess I'm fine with it if you argue everyone's strength of connection to the Force is on a spectrum and some, who are already more connected to it, can with practice develop Jedi-like skills, but what do you all think?
