Vassek was a remote world in the Wazta sector’s Vassek system, at Standard Galactic Grid square I-17. A small blue-and-green planet, it was one of many in the Outer Rim Territories that was named and noted, but whose obscurity and situation off the Koda Spur hyperspace route made it uninteresting to the galaxy.
Giving its name to the system, it and the other planets offered no uncommonly found resources with less effort to obtain. Vassek was orbited by three moons, one of which, Vassek 3, was home to Separatist Alliance General Grievous’s personal fortress.
