Yeah- I agree that Mae wanting to kill her sister all of the sudden – especially after that whole “you and me” mantra and telling each other that they love each other – was way over the top.
Also… how on earth did a coven made entirely of rock burn up and kill everyone by just lighting a door on fire? I think we’re supposed to think their mothers and everyone died in the fire, though I bet there’s a plot twist and that’s not really how they died, but still- I’m not buying any of it. Just honestly quite lame storytelling all around. I’m still going to try to be positive though and keep watching – hoping that the storytelling gets better from here. I do like Master Sol- he seems really cool.

May 20, 2024 at 5:23 pm in reply to: Star Wars: Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back is the best film. Do you agree? #14601In the original trilogy, 5 is definitely the film I watch the most often, but I can’t say that I think it is definitively hands-down the best. All 3 films in the OT are great- I love the first one as it sets the stage. Ep 5 is great because it shows how bad and dangerous the Empire is, and Ep 6 is a nice conclusion with even some redemptive qualities.

February 15, 2024 at 7:31 pm in reply to: What would you fix to make the Book of Boba Fett better? #12977I think they needed to change the direction after Boba learned from the Tusken people. Instead of defending Mos Espa and becoming its major domo, I think he should have gone on a specific hunting task to uncover a plot by the Hutts or something that involved more mystery and hunting around the galaxy.

Gotta just enjoy it for what it is. I do agree though that some things need to stay consistent over time.

Sure- it’s way different from everything else Star Wars, but I think it’s different in a good way. Really shows how evil the Empire is and how dangerous the galaxy really is, to the point that it hits close to home
That plus the great acting and intense build ups make it my favorite so far
I am curious to see though what the Acolyte will be like

Sure, I was a bit surprised that Ahsoka and Sabine didn’t find a way back, but I thought it was neat that there was a wizard statue seen at the end as Baylan Skoll was walking away. So, maybe the planet they’re on still is going to play an important role in the story going forward
