The Mandalorian: Season 3

Movie description: The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together. Din Djarin has in his possession the Darksaber, but what is its purpose? Can it somehow reunite Mandalore once again? Before he can find out, he must return to his homeworld and bathe in the waters under the surface to redeem himself from the sin of removing his helmet. What he finds there will surprise even the most fearsome Mandalorian.

Chapter 17: The Apostate

Din Djarin has committed a crime worthy of explusion from his Mandalorian tribe, The Children of the Watch. But after visiting the Armorer, he learns there is still a way to redeem himself: bathe in the waters of Mandalore. The only problem is that Mandalore is supposed to be uninhabitable after extreme bombs destroyed the surface and ruined the atmosphere. Djarin will have to travel to Navarro to get the aid of an old friend. But just as he’s about to do so, pirates attack, forcing him to change his plans. 

Chapter 18: The Mines of Mandalore

In preparation to travel to Mandalore, Din first stops at Tatooine to obtain parts for the IG-11 unit he plans to bring with him. Soon after, they arrive in orbit above the Djarin’s ruined homeworld. Magnetic interference jams their communications systems and soon they can see massive jagged and twisted spires on the surface of the planet. Grogu and Djarin are about to discover the great evil that awaits them on this forsaken planet. 

Chapter 19: The Convert

Having discovered that Mandalore is habitable, Din and Bo-Katan survived a narrow disaster after Din was sucked under the waters of Mandalore. After pulling Djarin out, Kryze remembers seeing something- something out of legend that was supposed to be extinct. Leaving Mandlore a redeemed Mandalorian, Din Djarin and Bo-Katan are quickly ambushed by TIE interceptors and must fight to survive.

Meanwhile, on Coruscant, the former Imperial remnant scientist Penn Pershing has been given a chance at redemption of his own through the New Republic Amensty program. But bad habits are hard to break, especially for such a talented – and potentially deadly – scientist. 

Chapter 20: The Foundling

At a secret covert, Din Djarin and Grogu reunite with their tribe, The Children of the Watch. Grogu must now learn the Mandalorian ways to become a warrior if he is to survive. Starting his training reminds him of long ago, we he was a Jedi padawan before the Jedi fell. But things are different now. And he must stay focused in the present; for a shriek-hawk is about to attack the small Mandalorian tribe.

Chapter 21: The Pirate

Above Nevarro, Pirate King, Gorian Shard, threatens a complete take-over if Greef Karga doesn’t surrender. Sending out a plea for help, the New Republic, but they ultimately refuse becaue Nevarro is an independent planet. Desperate for help, Karga turns to the best warrior he knows: Din Djarin. But can the Mandalorians reunite once again to fight together, or will they remain disaligned, unwilling, and worse – unable, to help because of their contentious past? What they choose will determine if they can ever hope to retake their homeworld of Mandalore again. 

Chapter 22: Guns for Hire

Axe Woves, a powerful Mandalorian, and his band of fellow warriors terrorize the galaxy as mercenaries for hire. They take cruel jobs, even capturing son of a Mon Calamari viceroy. Meanwhile, on Plazir-15 to find Woves, but before they can, they get enlisted in solving a droid problem by the royal leadership which states it will recognize Mandalore as an official nation if they help. Droids have been randomly breaking from their circuitry, hurting civilians. It’s up to Djarin and Kryze to solve the problem quickly so that they can track down Woves and unite all of Mandalore once again.

Chapter 23: The Spies

After receiving a report from the spy, Elia Kane, on Coruscant, Moff Gideon enters a dark room an converses through holograms with the Shadow Council – a deadly group of Imperial Remnant leaders that includes Brendol Hux. Their dangerous plans are in motion – and with them, the Empire prepares to return. 

Meanwhile, on Nevarro, Bo-Katan Kryze is able to bring Axe Woves’ fleet to join in the growing Mandalorian nation. At long last, they are growing united. It is time to for the Mandalorians to go home and retake Mandalore. 

Chapter 24: The Return

Destruction has engulfed Bo-Katan’s people on Mandalore! Shortly after arriving, they were ambushed by Moff Gideon and his troopers that had set up a base within the tunnels of Sundari. Djarin plans to defeat Gideon, but is captured. Meanwhile, Axe Woves’ fleet in orbit is surrounded by Imperial ships. But just when all hope appears lost for the Mandalorians, their greatest champion is about to rise up and prove herself the true leader of Mandalore.
