Introduction
On TrueSWFans.com, there are many ways that you can test and demonstrate your knowledge of the Force and thereby increase your midi-chlorian count. As your midi-chlorian count reaches certain amounts, your strength in the Force naturally increases and you progress to higher Jedi Ranks as outlined below. Of course- before you can begin, you must first pass the True Fan Quiz and then create an account.

Taking quizzes can be a quick way to increase your midi-chlorian count as it directly demonstrates your knowledge. A standard film quiz can increase your count anywhere from 0 to 30 midi-chlorians. Score 30% or less, and you won’t increase your count. Above 30%, your count will steadily increase the higher you score, as outlined in Table 2. Obtaining a score of >80% will result in passing the quiz, and you will obtain a badge recognizing that you passed.
Note in Table 3 however, that scoring well on the JEDI MASTER quiz, will result in an even larger increase. This is because the JEDI MASTER quiz will test your knowledge of all Star Wars Trivia. Obtaining a score of 70% or above will result in passing the quiz, and you will obtain a unique badge recognizing that you passed.

TrueSWFans keeps a list of canon Star Wars material to rate, which is included under the ‘User Review’ for each individual item/media. This includes: Star Wars films, TV series, books, and video games. The aggregate score from the User Reviews constitutes the ‘True Fan Rating’ for a given book, film, etc on the site (note this is different from the GAFFI score). While only canon material is available currently, ratings may also include Legends material in the future.
For each Star Wars content you rate, you will earn 2 midi-chlorians, though you will only be able to rate each item once (note that you may still be able to toggle rating bars after submitting a score, but the new rating will not register). For User Review Ratings, the material may be rated from 0 to 100 and you will need to be logged in to rate material.
There are various categories that Star Wars material may be rated on depending on the media type and if the media is animated or live-action. Some of these categories include: Plot, Animation/Visual Effects, Acting, and Meaningful Addition to Star Wars.
TrueSWFans keeps a list of canon TrueSWFans encourages fans to answer polls as a means of seeing what fans think of specific aspects of Star Wars material. Polls may appear in the general Polls pages, as well as on specific Star Wars media pages. For each Star Wars poll that you vote on, you will earn 2 midi-chlorians, though you will only be able to vote on each poll once.
Become a Fan Critic and Rate GAFFI Scores 
Star Wars Fan Critics are knowledgeable fans who seek to professionally rate Star Wars material using our standardized rating criteria, which constitutes the GAFFI Score. Fans will receive 10 midi-chlorians for applying to become a Fan Critic.
If your application is approved, you will have the unique opportunity of rating live-action Star Wars media. For each Star Wars media you rate, you will earn 10 midi-chlorians.
Participate In Discussion Boards
Since part of the goal of TrueSWFans is to build a community of fans that professionally discuss Star Wars content, you will earn 1 midi-chlorian each time you reply on a topic discussion. You can also submit a suggestion for a new discussion topic. If approved, you’ll receive 1 midi-chlorian each time someone places a reply on the topic you submitted.
Discussions are meant to be held using professional and respectful language. As such, you will be asked to agree to a Code of Conduct that requires the avoidance of profanities, slandering, and other forms of speech that would be seen as disrespectful. This does not mean however that you can’t give your honest thoughts – we do still hope you will provide your feedback and sincere critiques.
TrueSWFans plans to make video reports from what fans think. How you rate films, TV shows, and other Star Wars material is key to this process. When sufficient data is collected, these videos will be available to view, with the goal being to describe what Fans as a whole think of a given piece of material. TrueSWFans will also post videos regarding the site and new features as they emerge. For each video you watch completely, you will earn 10 midi-chlorians.
One of the great things about TrueSWFans is that you can demonstrate your vast knowledge of the Force. Our quiz banks have over 3,500 Star Wars trivia-style questions but as the story continues to expand, there is always more to learn about the galaxy far, far away.
To thank you for your help in expanding our question banks, you will earn 4 midi-chlorians for each unique question that you write. Be sure to monitor the Q-bank check list to make sure you contribute questions only for Star Wars material that we haven’t already written questions for.
As you increase your midi-chlorian count, you will unlock more advanced Jedi Ranks, as well as additional quizzes that tell your more about what you would be like if you lived in the galaxy far, far away. TrueSWFans is working to build a list of unique and fascinating facts that many fans may not know about Star Wars. This list is to include facts from the story of Star Wars – but not real-world facts such as information about the actors or filmmaking process. Fans who want to participate in this process are more than welcome to. You will earn anywhere from 5-30 midi-chlorians based on the quality and details of the Fan Fact you submit. You can submit as many as you want.
