Star Wars: Andor - Season 2
Movie title: Andor Season 2
Movie description: The fearsome Empire grows in power! Across the galaxy, planetary systems bow to the Emperor’s tyrannous might. Yet in the shadows of hidden worlds, agents like Cassian Andor silently rage with rebellion. But fighting back is not as simple as it seems. Luthen Rael – Andor’s prior benefactor – has been brandished as cold and bitter by many factions of the Rebellion. And to make matters more confusing, something strange is happening on the industrial planet of Ghorman. Is it the Ghor or the Empire that sows seeds of chaos amongst those of the otherwise peaceful world? And why would the Empire care about Ghorman in the first place? It is a perilous time as the Empire’s Secret Weapon comes near to completion, threatening to end the fledgling Rebellion once and for all.

Meanwhile, on the agricultural world of Mina-Rau, Bix, Brasso and Wilmon must find a way to lay low when the Empire comes to take census. On Chandilra, Mon Mothma prepares for the wedding of her daughter, Leida, to Stekan Sculdun. And at the snowy Maltheen Divide, ISB agent, Dedra Meero and several others attend a secret meeting with Director Krennic to discuss the careful takeover of the planet Ghorman in order to retrieve an essential part of the Death Star’s reactor lenses: kalkite.

2. Sagrona Teema
[4 BBY] Held prisoner between two warring factions on a jungle world, Cassian is eventually able to escape with his prized TIE Avenger. On Chandrila, as Leida and Stekan’s wedding preparations continue, Mon learns of Tay Kolma’s disappointment and frustration at being used by her to safeguard her funds without feeling any real return of appreciation. Meanwhile, on Mina-Rau, tensions mount as Imperial officers begin searching for anyone without a proper ID – forcing Bix, Brasso, and Wilmon on the run. On Coruscant, Dedra and Syril are seen together and it is clear they share romantic interests.

3. Harvest
[4 BBY] On Chandrila, wedding festivities culminate to a head when Leida and Stekan are finally married- though Mon is troubled inside herself. On Coruscant, Dedra and Syril have dinner with Syril’s mother, Eedy – which starts out peaceful, until Syril leaves the room and Dedra commandingly lays out an ultimatum of terms to Eedy if she wishes to continue to see her son. On Mina-Rau, Bix successfully fights back Imperial officer Lieutenant Krole when he attempts to sexually assault her, and she and Wilmon are eventually rescued by Cassian in his TIE Avenger, but not before Brasso is killed by Imperial troopers.

4. Ever Been to Ghorman?
[3 BBY] On Ghorman, Syril Karn – who works as an Imperial leader in the Bureau of Standards Ghorman field office – is invited to attend a meeting with several Ghor sympathizers who hope to enlist his help in determining what the Empire’s operations on the planet are really about. He agrees to work with them, secretly providing intel on their activities to the Empire. On Coruscant, Cassian is enlisted by Luthen Rael to go to Ghorman and investigate. Meanwhile, on D’Qar, Wilmon Paak finds himself stuck with Saw Gerrera and his radical Partisans when he is able to offer them technology to steal rhydonium.

5. I Have Friends Everywhere
[3 BBY] Under the false identity of a fashion designer named ‘Varian Skye’, Cassian Andor travels to Ghorman to assist with the Ghor plans to investigate Imperial activity, but ultimately decides the Ghor efforts will be futile. Meanwhile, Syril Karn continues to feign conspiring with the Ghor before returning to Coruscant to see Dedra. Also on Coruscant, matters become more complicated for Luthen and Kleya when they learn that the Sculduns are going to audit and inspect their antique collection and will discover the spy microphone Kleya had hidden. Meanwhile, Wilmon continues to teach Saw Gerrera’s man, Pluti, how to utilize the rhydonium-infiltrating device until Gerrera kills Pluti, revealing him as an Imperial spy.

6. What a Festive Evening
[3 BBY] On Coruscant, tensions mount when Kleya must secretly remove a listening device attached to Sculdun’s Tinian Codex artifact at a banquet with several guests present before Davo Sculdun finds out it is there. On Ghorman, Luthen sends Vel in place of Cassian to assist the Ghor in their efforts to investigate the Empire and tragedy strikes when Cinta unexpectedly is killed while the team hijacks an Imperial carrier. Finally, Bix confronts her nightmares of being tortured by infiltrating an Imperial Naval center and forcing Dr. Gorst into a chair with restraints before subjecting him to the same tortures she had experienced years prior.

7. Messenger
[2 BBY] On Yavin IV, a fledgling Rebel Alliance is growing and Andor and Calleen are among them. After a strange and mystical encounter with a Force-healer there, Cassian ultimately decides to leave without authorization to fulfill a mission for Luthen Rael, though it is clear that he and many of the Rebels no longer trust Rael. Andor later arrives on Ghorman and reveals his mission is to assassinate ISB agent, Dedra Meero. At the same time, tensions are rising rapidly on Ghorman as much of the population is protesting Imperial activity, and Syril Karn has also fallen out of favor with the Ghor spies. At Palmo Plaza, hundreds of the Ghor people gather to protest the Empire and its activities on their home planet while Cassian begins hunting for Dedra.

8. Who Are You?
[2 BBY] A massive protest has mounted in Palmo Plaza on Ghorman as the shouting for resistance against the Empire is heard all across the square. Cassian continues to try to get a line of target on Meero with his blaster rifle, but is unsuccessful. Syril meanwhile is shocked to learn from Dedra that he was used as part of a larger scheme by the Empire to ensnare the Ghor in false accusations and frame the Ghor to then be eliminated by the Empire. Outside in the plaza, an Imperial contingent of troopers prepares to hold back the throng of Ghor protestors while an Imperial sniper shoots one of their own troopers, allowing the Empire to frame the Ghor people with committing the murder. All chaos then breaks out as Imperial troopers begin ruthlessly killing the Ghor people. In the destruction, Andor faces Syril and the two fight before Syril is shot in the head by Ghor leader, Carro Rylanz.

9. Welcome to the Rebellion
[2 BBY] After the massacre on Ghorman, Mon Mothma decides to oppose the lies being told in the Senate by directly and openly proclaiming the Empire’s foul doings during a session of the Senate. In anticipation of the speech, Bail Organa arranges for a special team to be able to help Mothma escape the Senate after challenging the Empire. However, unknown to her, Organa’s team has a leak with an Imperial inside – named Beska who plans to capture the senator. Just in the nick of time, Cassian Andor, who was tipped off by Luthen Rael that Organa’s team had a leak, is able to rescue and extract Senator Mothma. Shaken by the scene of carnage committed to free Mon, Andor grimly tells her, “Welcome to the Rebellion.” Back on Yavin 4, Cassian tells Bix that he plans to abandon the Rebellion in favor of being with her. The next morning though, she is gone and has left him a message that she has left him because she can’t be the reason he doesn’t fight against the Empire.

10. Make It Stop
[1 BBY] Luthen Rael is surprised when he is summoned by his secret plant in the ISB, Lonni Jung. The agent reveals to Rael that he has discovered the Empire’s real reason for malice on Ghorman, mining of kyber crystals on Jedha, and strange activities on several other worlds: a deadly Imperial weapon involving the research of scientist Galen Walton Erso. Luthen kills Jung and then discusses the intel with Kleya at their artifcact shop, but after she leaves, Dedra Meero surprises and confronts Luthen at the shop, revealing that she knows he is Axis and has him surrounded. Before she can apprehend him though, he stabs and mortally wounds himself, forcing her to call in Imperial medics to rush him to a facility to keep him alive. Kleya then secretly infiltrates the medical facility and kills Luthen by disconnecting him from the devices keeping him alive, thus removing any chance he can be interrogated by the Empire. Throughout the episode, flashbacks also reveal how Luthen Rael and Kleya Marki became a team.

11. Who Else Knows?
[1 BBY] On Yavin 4, Wilmon and Cassian receive a distress signal via their hidden fractal radio and decide that is genuine. Andor, Ruescott Melshi and K-2SO leave against orders to travel to Coruscant, and there, they find Kleya but not before the Empire is able to intercept the location of Kleya’s radio transmission. While they begin searching the building for her exact location, Kleya reveals to Cassian her intel of a superweapon that had been covered up using the Emperor’s energy program. Andor and Melshi try to convince Kleya to leave with them and go to Yavin 4, but she is resistant. All the while, Imperial troops slowly close in on the apartment. Meanwhile, Dedra Meero is interrogated by Director Krennic regarding how she gained knowledge of the Death Star project.

12. Jedha, Kyber, Erso
[1 BBY] At a dark apartment on Coruscant where Kleya, Andor and Melshi argue about Kleya leaving to go to Yavin 4, suddenly, Imperial troopers led by Sergeant Gharial arrive and shooting begins. The Rebels are nearly knocked out by a stun grenade until K-2SO arrives to save them and they manage to escape. On Yavin 4, Andor informs the Rebel Council of the Empire’s coverup for a superweapon, but the council is skeptical and worried that the information is really a trap. Tensions rise as Cassian argues with them and defends Luthen Rael. Later, Draven Davits confides in Andor that they have a contact named Tivik in the Ring of Kafrene that refuses to provide his intel to anyone but Cassian. Finally, on the agri-world of Mina-Rau, Bix is seen holding a baby in her arms.
