Chapter 1: Stranger in a Strange Land

Having punched his way out of the gut of a sarlacc, Boba Fett – bounty hunter left for dead – lays unconscious on the desert sands of Tatooine. Discovered by a group of Tusken Raiders not long after, he becomes first their prisoner, and eventually their friend. While continuing to have flashbacks of his time with the Sand People, Boba’s thoughts return to the present: he and Fennec Shand have a lot of work to do. Having taken over Jabba’s former throne by eliminating Bib Fortuna, Fett and Shand must now maintain the Empire that Jabba once had. But doing so will be much more difficult than they first anticipated.

Chapter 2: The Tribes of Tatooine

After an ambush attack in the streets of Mos Espa, Fett interrogates one of the captured assassins and learns that the mayor was behind the attack. Fett then pays the mayor a visit, who fears him and attempts to pacify Boba with a reward for returning the assassin. But despite some respect to Fett, others still seek to claim the bounty hunter’s new rule. Arriving from Nal Hutta are ‘the Twins’ – cousins to the late Jabba – who seek to claim the territory as their own. Boba is not to be intimidated however and stands to stake claim on the territory. Meanwhile, his flashbacks of life with the Tusken Raiders continue, including a mission he once took with them to sabotage Pyke trespassers.

Chapter 3: The Streets of Mos Espa

Boba learns that since the start of his rule, several groups in Mos Espa have broken into chaos, not fearing him as their new leader. In particular, a gang of street youths has been stealing inventory, and water – giving Fett a chance to flex his muscles and demonstrate his leadership. But instead of punishing the youths, he decides to enlist them in his cause – a somewhat controversial decision, but one that might just work out if he can keep them under control. But larger dangers await him, including the Wookiee, bounty hunter Krrsantan and the Hutt Twins. Yet, just as the twins appear to strike, they give Fett him a rancor as a gift stating Tatooine is too dangerous and not worth the effort to control. Meanwhile, after returning to his bacta tank, Fett continues to have visions of his past – aiding the Tusken Raiders in fighting the Pykes plaguing the Sand People’s lands.

Chapter 4: The Gathering Storm

Through another flashback, Boba shows how he was able to recruit Fennec Shand to his cause after finding her dying in the desert and rescuing her. After healing from her near-fatal wounds, the pair infiltrated Jabba’s palace, stole back his ship, Slave I, and ultimately killed Bib Fortuna to take Jabba’s throne. In the present, Boba decides to attempt an alliance with the deadly Krrsantan. A small step, he will also have to gain control of the Trandoshans and Klatooinians before he can truly rule Mos Espa.

Chapter 5: Return of the Mandalorian

Striding through a slaughterhouse gleams the silver armor of the Mandalorian, Din Djarin. After obtaining and killing his bounty, Djarin gets his payment in the form of information, before meeting up with other Mandalorians and learning more of the legend of the Darksaber. After sparring with Paz Vizsla, Djarin must admit to the Armorer that he has removed his helmet, learning from her that the only way to atone for his sin is to bathe in the waters of Mandalore. Before he can attempt to travel to the hostile planet, he first must obtain a new ship, and is able to obtain an N-1 starfighter on Tatooine. After restoring the ship, he is greeted by Fennec Shand and agrees to a job to help Shand and Boba Fett.

Chapter 6: From the Desert Comes a Stranger

Traveling to the lush planet of Ossus, Din Djarin searches for Luke Skywalker and Luke’s new pupil: Grogu. While Djarin searches, Luke is teaches Grogu to meditate and connect with the Force. During their time, Grogu has a painful flashback of the destruction of the Jedi Temple during Order 66, but also learns to reach out and connect with the Force. Meanwhile, while walking through the forest to find Grogu, Din is confronted by Ahsoka Tano and warns the Mandalorian that it will be hard to let his attachment of Grogu go. Without seeing Grogu, Djarin leaves a small gift for his friend – beskar chain mail armor – before leaving to travel to Tatooine and help Boba Fett. Once there, Din must work to recruit Cobb Vanth and the people of Freetown if they are to have a chance at stopping the growing forces of the Pykes from controlling Mos Espa and much of Tatooine. Meanwhile, Grogu must decide once and for all if he will follow the way of the Jedi, or the way of the Mandalorian.

Chapter 7: In the Name of Honor

An all-out war is about to erupt in Mos Espa. Having hired the deadly bounty hunter Cad Bane, the Pyke Syndicate is ready to make their move against Fett and his leadership. Having mobilized his forces throughout the city, Boba is ready for almost anything, but Bane is no normal bounty hunter, and the Pykes will stop at nothing to profit on the spice trade. Soon, the battle has begun as Djarin and Fett soar into the streets, gunning down Pykes. But the battle takes a turn for the worse when two powerful Scorpenek droids advance through the streets, impervious to Boba’s attacks. With help from the returned Grogu and a juvenile rancor though, Boba’s fight to maintain Mos Espa is not over yet.
