Osseriton was a penal world located not far into the Unknown Regions in grid square G-9 of the Standard Galactic Grid. It shared its name with Osseriton Assemblages, the manufacturer of the Oubliette-class transport, which was originally designed with the singular purpose of ferrying criminals from surrounding star systems to a hard labor camp in the penal colonies of Osseriton, where convicts were sent to be forgotten about while extracting resources from the harsh landscape.
