The Acolyte
Movie description: It is a time of peace in the galaxy - the Republic has prospered as the Jedi maintain order and justice. But the security they feel is a lie. Lurking in the shadows is a threat more deadly than anyone knows. When Jedi Master Indara is suddenly killed on the planet Ueda, the Jedi are startled and fearful. When more Jedi are assassinated, Jedi Master Sol will lead a team of Jedi to investigate. But things are not as they seem - for the suspect is not Indara's killer, and the true killer is just a pawn in a darker, more twister plan. Confusion lies at every turn. 1. Lost / Found
On the planet Ueda, Jedi Master Indara is tragically killed by an unknown assassin who matches the description of ex-Jedi Padawan, Osha Aniseya. Osha, who now works as a meknek repairing ships is surprised when Jedi Knight Yord Fandar travels to her home to take her into custody for questioning, though Osha’s journey will be frought with unexpected turns. Meanwhile, Osha’s old master, Jedi Master Sol must confront dangers of the past in learning the accusations of his former padawan.
2. Revenge / Justice
Mae Aniseya, Osha’s mysterious sister who was thought to be dead, is on the hunt. Having killed Jedi Master Indara, she now travels to Olega with plans to murder Master Torbin. Osha, along with Jedi Knigth Yord, Padawan Jecki, and her old Master Sol will have to catch her sister before more Jedi die. But lurking in the shadows is a larger plot; Mae has friends helping her, and a dark master that even she herself seems to know very little about.
3. Destiny
Sixteen years before the main story arc of the Acolyte, on the planet Brendok, Osha and Mae grew up under the parenting of their mothers, Mother Aniseya and Mother Koril. The two girls are part of a coven of Force-wielding witches. Their mothers become concerned when they learn of Jedi in the forest watching. But despite their mother’s fear of the Jedi Order, Osha secretly wishes to join them, fearing her own destiny as part of the her mother’s coven of witches. A confrontation is about to break out when the two young girls make their vows at a ceremony known as the Ascension – but it’s not the confrontation anyone was expecting.
4. Day
Leading a team of Jedi, Master Sol travels to the remote jungle planet Khofar, where he and Osha hope to find their old friend, Kelnacca, a Jedi who is next on Mae’s hit list. But while they travel through the jungle searching for their Wookiee friend, Mae is already ahead of them, about to make her deadly move. But just as they are about to arrive at their target, an unexpected twist of events will change everything – and reveal the true deadly threat that lurks in the shadows.
5. Night
A new deadly threat has revealed itself in the jungles of Khofar. Brandishing a crimson blade, Sol and his team are quickly overwhelmed by the masked villain. In the chaos that ensues nearly all the Jedi are killed before is able to challenge and withstand the dangerous masked Sith Lord. Meanwhile, Mae has plans of her own – and only Osha can seem to sense what deadly acts her sister will go to in order to escape after betraying her dark master.
6. Teach / Corrupt
While Master Vernestra searches for Sol and the remnants of his defeated team, Mae disguised as Osha draws closer and closer to ending the unsuspecting Sol. Meanwhile, on a world far away, Osha herself is trapped on an island with the dark lord himself. But despite all her teachings from the Jedi, her captor is surprisingly calm and hospitable. Creating confusion within her, he persists in teaching her the flaws of the Jedi Order. Suddenly, the path of the Dark Side not only looks harmless, but inviting.
7. Choice
In a flashback sixteen years before the current story, a new perspective on the events of Osha and Mae’s upbringing is seen. As the Jedi search to detect a Vergence on Brendok, the discover a hidden coven of witches and realize that Mae and Osha are at the center of the Coven’s plans. Driven by diverse motives, the Jedi will face the witches in a most dangerous confrontation that will impact the lives of all those present.
8. The Acolyte
Chasing after Mae, Sol returns to the planet Brendok – knowing that the fateful end of everything lies there. But unbeknownst to him, the Sith Stranger and Osha also are on their way there. And Osha has just had a shocking vision – one in which Mae looms in a cloud of darkness, prepared to end Sol once and for all.
